What a joke. Looked like he has the whole season; uninterested.

100% agree, i don't know if him missing the layup did so, but he looked totally uninterested. Knowing you are going up against some of the best PG's in the league should give you enough motivation. But as a professional athlete there is no excuse for missing the very first lay-up

Once he missed the layup he knew he wasn't going to make it. It's not for a freaking gold medal it's a stupid competition at the All-star game what does it matter if he takes it's serious.

Think what bothered me most was his disinterest in the girl he was playing for. He hardly even glanced at her. Would it have killed him to high-five her and be enthusiastic about helping her out?

I'm sure he interacted with her. They were only on camera together for all of maybe 1 minute total.

CP3 usually doesn't seem too personable. Very business like in his approach. I don't think this is a fault, just the way he is. He does not seem to joke around much or get too excited during games in relation to his other team mates. Seems like a boring guy. I don't want a player joking all the time like Lebron James, but expressing your enjoyment during a game isn't too bad every once in awhile.

He was probably more interested in going fig it up with Lebron.

My stepdad recently was frequently in and out of the building CP lives in (AC work) and saw him several times. Said each time, he was very friendly and outgoing. He doesn't seem as happy on the court, but I don't think that necessarily extends to his personal life.

I was at the Yogi Bear event he hosted back in November or so. He was friendly and all smiles then too.

I think people confuse competitive focus with being unhappy. He even joked with a kid about how he was a nerd in high school...and that the kid couldn't beat him at basketball.

Whatever his personality is I see your point, he does look uninterested in playing for the hornets. Last year he was one of the most exciting captivating pg's in the league getting 30 and 10 a game. Comstantly putting the team on his back. Now your lucky if he scores 15 points in a game...
