LOL How many times has Tyreke dribbled out the shot clock late in games, waving off AD, only to drive to the rim and threw up a shot that has no fricking chance of going in.

I don't know, how many? Link evidence. You and everyone else make up this ridiculous situation in your head. Tyreke is a gamer. Not afraid of the moment. Dude carried us into the playoffs while AD rode pine 2 years ago and you think he's worthless? Sure, he's not Kobe but who is? You are all out of your mind followers with the tyreke hate. Link me multiple games where he did this and I'll shut up. Bunch followers.

It's unbelievable the people who sit here and think they "understand basketball" more than the next guy posting on a dead message board. If you "understood" basketball more than everyone why aren't you making money doing it? It's subjective. Tyreke is a producer and no amount of understanding can take that away. The lot of you that hate are a bunch of phony followers who like to run on popular opinion like it validates your own. Tyreke is a solid NBA player and yet you think trading him for a bunch of fringe assets is a better move than winning with him. It's truly baffling. /melt

I dont have any video, but if you really think Tyreke hasnt had moments where he waves of AD late in games to take a stupid fricking shot you are hopeless. Literally every nationally broadcasted game the big NBA guys on twitter are saying how bad Tyreke's basketball IQ is and how he doesnt pass AD the ball.

The truth regarding Tyreke is that he's not nearly as bad as people make him out to be and not as good as his defenders think.

I can agree with this. I do think hes a good player, he just constantly makes boneheaded mistakes. It truly is frustrating to watch as a fan.

Even when Tyreke is healthy he's hardly a plus player.

5-0 run while AD was hurt and he's was the beat player at the time. We lose those games and no playoffs.

tyreke has a perfect position coming off the bench as the facilitator of the offense when we slow it down without our A squad. the question is if he'll accept this role or if he'll demand to start or pout

i think hill was signed in large part for his intangibles (hard working, effort guy who is positive)

tyreke has to buy in to EVERYTHING (especially our offensive style) or he's the odd man out

i don't think he fits in our offense as a starter due to his style of play. it's that simple

You're full of shite if you're going to sit there and claim you didn't defend Johnny Jones after the season ended.

The trade Tyreke talk is ridiculous.

why?

given our system and what we want to do

given his style of play, injury history, and likely demands

why is it "ridiculous" to talk about trading him?

Sup jester? You don't think tyreke carried us for 2 weeks while AD rode pine two years ago in March/April? And to the guy talking national writers Twitter, link it up? It's easy to hate on the guy willing to take the last shot, just like it's easy to post sarcastic memes when you have no evidence for your point. What's the alternative? Trade tyreke for a group of players you can bash in order to appear to have "basketball IQ". You're all pathetic. No one on this team gets to the rim and creates off penetration like tyreke does right now. Draw up a favorable deal and I'll sign it, but to just blindly say get rid of him is ridiculous.

i agree, but our offense isn't built around that (at least our A-team offense)

he did. i appreciate him for it. but he either buys in to our team today or we move him

i love tyreke. i thought he'd crush the pnr with AD. that just didn't happen b/c of his shooting issues

Once Monty got thru to him that'd for us to makeat the playoffs he'd have to be a distributer he crushed it the last half of the 2015 season. Then he got hurt during the GS series and wasn't the same.

All in all I agree with the low basketball IQ assessment about tyreke but calling him a bum is stupid. He's an good NBA player that would do well in second units running a slower paced team.

People always talk about his negatives. With Low ball IQ, holds the ball, and bad off ball D (everyone on that team was) they ignore his positives. We had no small forward he played that role, we need bench scoring and offense he played that role, Gordon we down he played SG, and Jrue went down he played pg. We need him to be a passer and he avg 7-8 assist post all star break. Hes a above average Iso defender. He's a great rebounder for a guard he can constantly hit double figure rebounding. He's a scorer that can create his own shot and shot for others. He had Cole, Q and Gorson shooting above 40% which theyve never done before. He breaks down defenses with his driving and can guard 1-3 in spurts. He plays through pain when other players get a scratch they are out forn2 months. He can also at times carry the load of the team. But since he dribbles too much and sometimes makes dumb plays that out weights everything else so he must go. He even improved his shooting when other said he wouldnt. He adjusted his game to play half court under Monty. He was also adjust his game under Gentry becoming a lower usage player. When we need to beat okc he put up 22/16/11 and we needed to beat the spurs he put up 19/11 but he's trash. We went 2-16 without him. Then we played a little below .500 with him on a gimpy knee with no training camp. Then he went down we lost for the remainder of the season.
