Miami Declines Beasley's option

Still might have some left in tank.

Tons of talent, but I don't want a locker room hazard just to take a flier.

There are probably better options out there.

He's talented for sure, but he Doesn't play defense and doesn't pass. He's incredibly ball dominant and isn't really even that efficient scoring the basketball (which is what he does best). Add that to the off court issues that come with him... Probably shouldn't take a chance on him

Although, if I recall, I think he is pretty close with Durant. Should we start that campaign now?

You shouldn't. No need for flaming out headcases.

What issues has he had lately? Has he been in the news? What friction in Miami has come from his signing there?

Nope. Wasn't he thrown out of the league a couple of times already?

There was a sexual assault case in 2014 that I think the charges were dropped on. Other than that, chronic marijuana use.. Also, even after LeBron left Miami waived him. Only re signed him after various injuries this year and only played 24 games for a non-playoff team.
