His system fits our roster way more than this clown

I'm not sure how JVG's system works, so I cannot comment on that. But it seems like Gentry's system isn't really what fits our players best. I think it sounded appealing at first b/c of what he did in Golden State, but honestly they just have much better guard play than we do, which really compliments with that fast paced system. And you can make the argument that we have good guards in Reke, Gordon, and Holiday, but all 3 of them have had injury issues over the last 2-3 years. That just isn't going to cut it.

Or maybe, the Pelicans aren't any good.

I mean we were good last year. And the natural progression would've had us getting even better. There's two big changes from last year, coaching and injuries.

And both of those play into each other and compound the problems each brings about on their own.

Changing systems has growing pains.

Injuries create problems

A coaching change and injuries are going to make the climb even harder.
