Do you think New Orleans will ever see this type atmosphere/size of crowd outside the Smoothie King?

Yes if we were as consistent as them and made it to the finals.

Folks in Milwaukee don’t mess around in the summer. They are on the clock and they know it. Fun town for those 90 days.

Of course we can if the team wins the people will support it. We always support a winner our playoff crowds for basketball has always been great. I will never forget 07 fans with the stop the flop to Dirk and the dude that bought out the swimsuit life size poster of Tony Parker wife.

Agreed.

I was there for the Daddy Jrue steals Lillard's soul game in Smoothie King and anyone that was there will testify to how batshit crazy it got in there.

The atmosphere rivaled a great Saints playoff game(put it right up there with Philly/Rams game couple years later).

Give this city a CONSISTENT winner and contender(meaning actual Finals appearances, not just a good regular season run and losing in the first or second) and we know how to bring massive energy.

Just look at the Saints when they won the Super bowl there was over a million people out on a Tuesday night for the parade. Even now when the win a big road game there a ton of people that be at the airport to welcome them back.

It was a life sized cut out and he would wave it every time Parker shot free throws, lol.

I think if the people of New Orleans are given a reason to drink and party for a whole day they’ll gladly run with it no matter the reason. The scenes in champions square and the quarter would be nuts

I've been to nearly every playoff series we've had since the franchise came to NOLA, and, while, gun to my head, I'd pick the Saints over the Pellies, I'd also say that absolutely nothing compares to the atmosphere of a competitive NBA playoff game.

So, yes, I think New Orleans could match what Milwaukee fans did for the finals, especially after seeing the turnout for the night we drafted Zion.

It's been said so many times, but it was so refreshing to see these two franchises and fanbases in the finals, this year, as opposed to the usual teams.

That was mild compared to the party on Bourbon Street after the big Saints games.

we can most definitely recreate that at worst, surpass it at best. Louisiana is loyal and loves to support a winner.
Playoff games here are raucous for the most part. Lots of energy. Game 3 and game 4 vs the blazers was insane. Especially game 3 against blazers where we went on that huge run - at one point mirotic hit a pull up transition 3 and the building nearly exploded.

if our used car salesman POBO can build a legit roster we will be back to that in no time.

The Dallas and Spurs series in 07 were insane.
