Yet they've made the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years and were making strides towards getting everything back to normal. He wanted to take the easy way out and try to make a super team after he saw what his buddies Melo and LeBron were doing.

i wouldn't say the hornets were making strides to getting everything back to normal bc at the time of the trade there was nobody that looked like they where going to buy the team and i don't blame him for going make a super team thats what the nba is coming too

While that probably is true, he doesn't give two shits about NOLA. He would've walked out on us for nothing had we not been able to trade him this year.

meh, that's not necessarily true. and so what, he is good at basketball. he didn't intentionally save basketball in New Orleans. he doesn't care. we don't owe him our fandom or jack shite

I am not really pissed at CP3; however, the way CP3 and Paul handled their departures from their old team is what is wrong with the NBA.

The people of Cleveland are just fricking stupid and have no reason to be mad at Lebron. He played great all the way until the end of his contract and moved on. He didn't bitch really at all the whole way.

CP3 bitched and complained. He then tried to force trades that would get him his money and his location. Total bitch moves and it is a bad thing for the NBA.

The issue should always be done more the way Amare, Lebron, and Bosh did it rather than how Melo and Paul handled the situation.

there are a bunch of other scenarios that could have made us a good team...why do we owe chris paul? that's ridiculous. cleveland owes lebron, denver owes melo, utah owes deron, etc. hell, we definitely owe baron davis then

Chris Paul is everything that's wrong with today's NBA. If stars keep following the lead of players like him, it would ruin basketball for 3/4 of the NBA franchises. No one except the media and bandwagon NBA fans would want to see 6 different teams alternate championships.

ESPN had one of those sports nation polls up about 3-4 days ago with the question who is the best PG in the NBA? Possible answers D-Rose, CP3 and Lin.

Every state except LA voted majority Rose. LA voted CP3. So either we still love him here or no one pays attention to the hornets and they still think he is on the team.

Sad thing is Rose isn't truly a point guard. He is a scoring shooting guard with "PG" next to his name on the roster. Kobe does the same thing, he just has SG next to his name.

People like Rondo, Nash, Lin, and CP3 are the true point guards.
