I wonder what the % is going to be after tonight now that NO is in the 8 spot and we have been told KD probably 2 weeks out yet.. I can see us loosing 3 games now with no KD in the next week Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta .. That would pretty much seal our fate I think.

I read several posts from fans and the general impression is they will lose 3-4 games before KD comes back and it may be too late. Also they can't fathom why the Pelicans are playing good all of a sudden.

17 games left. What do y'all think the Pels need to do to get in?

12-5, 11-6?

Id like to say 11 but 12 is probably more realistic.

IF you want to catch Dallas i think youre going to have to go like 14-3.

10 could get us in. OKC is neither hot nor healthy.

I'm not seeing it as even, I'm seeing it as off the board.

I think 14-3 catches Dallas for sure. They are right at .500 after the all-star break with an easier schedule than they have to end the season. I think 12-5 gives us a decent shot of catching Dallas, and I don't think the thunder can finish the season 14-4. So at 12 I'd be very surprised if we weren't in, 10 or 11 we're still in good position, anything under that would require a lot of help on OKC's part.

We do but I wonder if some of those tougher Western Conference teams decide to "rest" their stars when they play us to keep OKC out

Plus 2 of our last three games (Hou, MIN, SA) are against teams that very well may have their seed locked up at that point.
