Spurs model would honestly be trading Eric Gordon and starting a 3 point shooter next to Jrue with Tyreke coming off the bench like Ginobili. Sign another bench player if you care about the sheer number of guards

We get it. You hate Eric Gordon. You don't need to come into every thread throwing out ways to get rid of him.

I can see Morrow and Evans, with Anderson being a good bench

Or trade Gordon

I feel like Evans will be much more effective when teams can't clog the lanes. With a guy like Anderson, Smith, and Morrow, you would have some amazing spacing.

If Gordon has injury problems its nice to have another scorer off the bench. Monty is going run 'n gun

He does love him some EGO.

Personally though, I'd rather keep him. I know his attitude these past 2 seasons has been shitty and the whole "My hearts in Phoenix" thing made me sort of hate him, but I think if healthy and motivated he could be exactly what this team needs, a quick fire scorer with good range and solid defense.

Morrow for the vets minimum is a good signing. Solid bench option that could spot start when necessary. You can never have enough quality shooters. I like.

I have to say I've only went and seen a handful of Hornet games over the past few years but I'm pretty sure I'll at least match that this season.

This is about as good a signing at this point as you can get.

He's an end of bench Vet Guard, that is actually one of the best 3 point shooters in the league. For the vet minimum. We needed this on the team.

Agreed. Demps continues to make moves we don't even think of that wind up being great for this team. Like danman said, give me Brandan Wright and call it an off-season.

All i'm going to say is: This is not the spurs model. The spurs won their championships with most of their salary invested in Cs. Last year, maybe by the end of the year, they had 7 guards. 5 of those guys were all backups(shooters) to the primary 1 and 2 in manu and parker.

I smell a trade for ego coming up. If we can't get anything for him until sometime next season, it may be then. If Dell has any sense, he's not going to keep all this money locked up in the backcourt.

if you already thought he was gone before, this adds a little fuel to the fire...relax, no one thinks Morrow is EG's replacement.

We aren't trading Gordon. This is essentially a one year vet minimum deal. Bench guy that will get spot minutes for scoring spurts and spacing. Can play increased minutes due to injuries.

This is a great deal, upgrade over Mason.

I think we absolutely trade Roberts in help to acquire a Big. Can we combine a trade with the Room Exception?
