I mean, our games are super boring. Even last year.

One of the worst fanbases in all of north american sports. I don't really know how to fix it other than getting Ben Simmons by some miracle.

How is attendance looking these days? I don't really watch much either - the Pels are boring as frick to watch.

It's not good, but it's a lot better than it was a few years ago.

You used to be able to find sub 100 dollar floor seats to the midweek games against shite opponents. Can't do that anymore. For reference, I just checked StubHub and the cheapest floor tickets are 200 each for the 76ers game.

On the tickets I've sold so far this season (about 8 games) I've made like 200 or so above face value, which is pretty shocking considering how much we suck.

Obviously attendance will continue to go down the farther along we get and the farther we fall down the standings. There's only two marquee games left on the home schedule (Thunder and Lakers).

I quit watching an email the team every week stating that I will not resume watching as long as Demps is still employed. I am not local but I am still a fan that is boycotting them.

Not really, because those are all cities where the hockey team is miles and miles better than the basketball team. So hockey gets their attention this year.

should have thought about that when we started 1-11 and it was over before it began...

Whenever I'm in Nola at a bar and there's an away game, you almost have to bribe bartenders to turn the game on. And someone will invariably bitch "I was watching that..." Dude it was two random teams playing a Tuesday night game on ESPN. You don't give a shite about either.

You need to go to better bars, brah. Or at least with more than one fricking television.

This. It's tough to watch a team be shitty. I watched the hell out of last year, but I ain't gonna lie. It's tough to watch a team lose to the Lakers.

Meh. I canceled my cable on 1/1/16 and haven't missed it. I'll listen to the games on the radio if I can or catch a game at Twin Peaks or something, but the Pelicans are no reason to continue to get raked over the coals by cable providers and dish networks.

I watch every game on FoxSportsGo.

However, once i was at a casino (in Louisiana). This was at least a season after the rebrand. The bartender was a guy, did not seem gay or foreign. I asked him to put on the Pelicans game, he said, and i quote, "Whats that?"

With the lost season I'm strongly considering cutting the cord as the Pels are one of the reasons I still have cable. That being said, I don't think our fan base is any more tech savvy than the other fan bases, so I don't think you can assume cord cutting is much of a factor as to why we're near the bottom of the league. This team has not only been much worse than expected, as others have said they aren't fun to watch. Watching an undermanned Jarrett Jack lead Hornets team be competitive for 3 and half quarters was often more entertaining than what we've been getting from this year's team. Oh look, Norris Cole just took another pullup midrange shot.

If the team was competitive, I'd watch more. I watched almost every game from the moment my cable company got the games (year before we drafted AD) until this year. This year I have only really watched 7-10 games. Every time I watch, it is painful.

Obviously cutting the cord is not the reason the Pels are dead last in local viewership, that would be because they suck balls and show no signs of life. CUtting the cord is just why I don't watch them, and even if they were leading the league I likely would not keep getting raped by pay tv services, though I'd try a little harder to watch the games elsewhere.

Only certain cable providers have the games, if I'm not mistaken. If you live outside of NO, you have to have Uverse with a good sports package to even catch the game.

Maybe it's an access thing.

Eatel, Cox, DirecTV all have FSNO. All in the basic sports package for like $5 extra per month.

I'm in BR and have Directv. The only thing on Fox Sports NO is Pels games and it's ch. 676-4. Buried. All other Fox sports programming is FS Southwest. Gag. All Texas all the time. FSNO should have all its programming going to all of Louisiana. Prolly a Directv issue.

Also I travel the state for work and there are plenty of times I've been at a bar eating dinner and the Pels game isn't on.
