Not only is he apologizing to every aspect of the pelicans (fan base, city, team, David Griffin, Benson) but he is honoring a bet he made midseason and is donating to a charity in New Orleans because Zion signed the extension

I will say that it is refreshing when a talking head admits he was wrong. I’m sure you can count the # of wrong admissions from hot take guys like Cowherd, SAS, and Bayless on one hand.

I'll give him a good bit of credit for this but saying the pels should be relocated was indefensible.

I get the feeling maybe our organization wasn’t as well put together while Perkins was here for a year and that’s where he was getting his narrative from.
