This season has been beautiful to see so far.

LeGM
Street Clothes
Harden
KD
Kyrie
Crowder
Simmons

Not NBA but bonus: A&M and Jimbo. Their failures give me strength.

You love to see it. Let's hope it lasts.

One of these is not like the other, but yes, F J Crowder.

I mean he's a douche, so he's like them.

We just need Draymond to get knocked out by someone and everything will be perfect.

If garret temple undercuts him on a layup all will be forgiven.

Luka needs to be on the list. Mavs are 1-2. Two of my best friends are Mavs fans and they halfway root for the Pels just for me, so I want the Mavs to be decent for their sake, but I can't even watch a Mavs game because Luka is such a douche.

Just need something to happen to the entire Suns roster and it'll be perfect.

He wouldn't be on my list though. Love me some KD.

It is hilarious how much the general NBA narratives have changed in the Pels (and other small market teams) favor over the last few years:

The failure of LeBron/Lakers since their bubble chip
The success of small market teams like the Grizz, Bucks
The success of teams without megastars like the Heat

2019 and prior, the Big 3 Lakers/Nets build-a-team model was considered the only way to be viable (other than GSW). Now that is not the case.

Culture matters more than ever.

If we're going by douchiness alone....I don't care how organic they built their team...the Warriors are the "Jr High boys in flat bill hats" of the NBA....

1. he asked to be traded
2. its been a while. suns been shopping him around. no one saying yes to suns demands.
3. they just sent him home.

he's a streaky 3 pt shooter.
thug.
I think being a thug is not a great look in today's social environment.

he recently claimed he does not demand to start. says starting is not why he wants out. <= this after no bites from trade partners.

IT's funny how many puff pieces were written about the Suns camaraderie last year and yet it would seem that was entirely an illusion. What with Crowder being miserable, Ayton being pissed and mopey, Booker making not-so-subtle overtures to bigger markets, Cam Johnson not getting his extension and not being all too happy. Feel like the moment CP3 declines much more the tires are coming completely off that team. As I think he and Monty are the only things keeping plane from crashing.

Pels seem to have the actual camaraderie the Suns could only fake having

In a way, I think the Pelicans damn near beating them without Zion made them start to question each other. And the Mavs snatching their souls after being down 2-0 and 3-2, made them start to hate each other.

Most team cultures are likely contingent/hinge upon winning/being successful. The Pelicans culture they have built was definitely strengthened by winning, but was technically already strong even when they were struggling to find wins at the beginning of last season.

“We have a special group.”
