CSB, I know, but was playing my second season of "My Career" on NBA 2k last night and the game was vs the Hornets. The Hornets:

1- Lottery pick rookie (Lets just say its Burke)
2- Gordon
3- Aminu
4- Hickson
5- Davis

Off the bench came Metta World Peace, Vasquez, Rivers, Henry, Anderson, another vet sf and some Rookie big man. Is this what we are gonna look like? Cause I do have a feeling Vasquez, Lopez, or Anderson will be dealt.

No and not just because they'll be the Pelicans.

Starting PG could very well be a rookie but Aminu will hopefully not be starting if he's on the team, Henry won't be on the roster and Ron Artest will still be on the Lakers. He's already said something about restructuring to stay. Also, after looking at him since Gyno suggested him, I think I'd rather go after Blatche than Hickson.

The biggest flaw with NBA 2k13 regarding the Hornets is they still have Aminu improving to a solid starter over the years. Which he will probably never do.

I agree with the Aminu and Henry comment but it would be cool to have a ron artest type veteran on the team. Wouldn't want to spend that type of money but ive been saying we needed a veteran at the 3. And mason isn't cutting it.

Iggy minus 5 mill.

Mason is that old past his prime vet, and he's actually playing pretty well, he just isn't a SF. What I see for SF is Miller backing up one of the mid level SFs on the market like Brewer/Budinger/Webster.

Well if it happened in NBA2k13, it will almost assuredly happen in real life.

Budinger is a youngen but plays like a vet. What about Deng?

Chicago has no reason other than money to move him. If he's available I can see the Hornets going for it and the Hornets would be the type of team Chicago would want to deal with in that situation because they could take on Deng without sending much salary back. If it wasn't part of a Gordon dump I'd have to imagine something like our 1st and another good cheap bench player for Deng. Deng is playoff experienced and a glue guy, probably the type of guy you'd try to add in 2 years when he'd be about 30, so I'd have no problems picking up our savvy vet 2 years early since he's only 28 now (turns 28 in a few weeks).

The game has Henry as a top 5 SG by the 3-4th year, which always makes me lol

Every time I play as the Hornets I trade Henry first thing when I start the season

Gives me a warm feeling inside

Lmao I hate that about Henry and Aminu, and I traded everybody except AD and Austin on my 2k association for cheap contracts or expiring contracts. Then yr 2 I drafted Shabezz Muhahamad, Otto Porter, Seth Curry, and Isaiah Austin. Then I signed CP3, Dhoward, and Jr Smith, and then flipped Cp3 for kyrie cheap contract.

Starting lineup:
Kyrie
Bradley Beal (who I drafted EJ for)
Shabez
AD
D Howard

Eta: About to finish yr 2 probably will be able to sign melo or Lebron in free agency
