Does anyone know if the new CBA from a few months ago included an amnesty clause? I know if it was on the chopping block from the previous one but wasn't sure if they went through with taking it out.

There was no amnesty clause. If they need to create cap space out of Asik they can stretch him and turn his $11 million cap hit next year into $3.5 million for the next 7 years. If you need the cap space you do it, but it's a last resort when you have the right player lined up kind of move.

Now that we have Boog, I would trade a future 1st unprotected to move Asik if we had a major move lined up. I would move 2nds and a player like TJ to move Ajinca.

You have to think that's the plan this offseason, assuming they think they can sign someone, or trade for someone like Fournier, Crabbe, Bazemore, Middleton.

There really aren't a lot of FA's worth the money this offseason. CP3 and Dwade, although I doubt we could find enough money to get them.
Hayward, but I doubt we have a shot at that. he's staying in Utah or going to Boston.
Porter is staying in Washington.

Outside of that there isn't much talent, that aren't big men, which we dont' need.
Gallinari would be a big name, but he probably wants to much money, and is always hurt.

patty Mills and Jeff Teague will be out there.

I wouldn't mind Shaun Livingston. he would be great for defense and if he can be more like Richard Hamilton playing off the ball, he'd be a nice asset on this team hitting mid range jumpers and getting to the rim.
