I agree. We tried to drive against 3 guys in the paint all day. the arc was wide open

This is hit and miss. It really depends on the matchup. He shouldn't have been on the court last night for as long as he was (16mins IIRC?) with "glue guy" Lance Stephenson. He just doesn't have the footspeed to get open and the bigs on Indiana don't need help on defense.

I do like the pickup. My problem is that Monty substitutes him in with people that can't efficiently get him the ball (not yet at least). Holiday/Gordon should be on the floor at all times instead of playing them solely together. Evans hasn't quite settled in and without players to collapse the lane, he can't get open. Rivers would be a much better pairing with Morrow if Monty insists on Gordon/Holiday being off the court.

The other problem lies with Stiemsma. The perimeter defenders stay home because the defense doesn't respect his jumper and they have a center clogging the lane (more often than not much longer than 3 secs btw) to protect the rim.

ETA: ONE of Holiday/Gordon

He's much longer than I thought he was, and Jen Hale told a story last night about Monty getting excited about Morrow getting excited at making 2 stops in a row on defense in game 1. If he can start playing defense he could be the starting SF we're looking for.

I'll easily sacrifice some defense and rebounding for infinitely better spacing.

I'd love to see him on the floor with Ryno, Jrue, Gordon and Davis.

You've already seen it and it's very effective. Unfortunately, Ryno is out and Aminu's needs Ryno to mask his weaknesses.

Opps, you may be talking about Morrow.

Yes Morrow. Not Aminu.
