I have never seen so many switches in a 4th quarter before, let alone this whole game. What gives? Why do we have big men guarding the two best 3 point shooters in the league? Someone, for the love of God, explain this horseshite to me.

It works when you have davis and Cunningham at the 5 and 4. With Ryno it's just dumb.

And he likes to hard hedge with Ryno, which most people say you should only do with a big that is athletic enough to get back to his man....

He waited way to long to pull Ryan, he was hot in the 3rd but needed to come out sooner in the 4th, guy can't defend a guard to save his life.

Besides today Ryno has actually played much better defensively. Asik has been the big surprise for me. They can't leave him 1 on 1 with Bogut because Bogut totally outmatched him in every asset of the game, so they switch him over to Curry of all people. What happens? Curry nails the three. Because of that Asik got virtually no minutes past the 3rd quarter, but it didn't help that Ryno was horrible defensively tonight (unless he was on Bogut, which was Monty's main plan I assume.).

If you ask me, Asik was a horrible pickup for the Pels. Yes his rebounding is good, but his defense is very situational. Teams like GSW can easily expose this supposed "defensive" center with ease because their big men are just so much more athletic. Asik brings literally nothing to the table unless he is facing against someone as athletic as himself, such as Zaza Pachulia.
