Boogie puts up stats, but I'm still not sure I'd want him. Dude can ruin chemistry in a heartbeat.

I've been calling him Derrick Coleman 2.0 since his draft, but I really think he matured this summer playing for team USA and he clearly is motivated to win/by winning. He still has some bipolar/hot head issues that he may never overcome, but he and AD would be the best Twin Towers ever assembled.

I mean really???? Yea he had problems early in his career but seemed to me like he changed. And if you for one second believe that boogie would not be good for this team, at a loss for words now........ I mean I am drooling over here. He is exactly what we need on this team. Someone who flat out is going to beat you up on the inside..

I actually sort of agree with Galactic Inquisitor, which is shocking. He has progressed, but it is still something to worry about. 1 good year does not make up for all the bad. I want to see more consistent good behavior from him. He is Coleman 2.0, that is a spot on assessment.

I agree with this. That would be, by far, the best front court in the NBA. That said, is the twin towers system a championship formula in today's NBA. Would he affect AD's development? How much would he cost to acquire? Would Malone's offensive system work on such a front-court dominated roster? There is much more at play than "They are both dominant players, we'd be unbeatable." Remember when Howard signed with LA?

An AD/Boogie frontcourt is a problem I would love the Pels to have.

If he comes here it's because of a demand to come here, so I'd imagine some combination of future picks and whatever we can sell of anyone not named AD for. With his personal problems you might be able to sell being 1B next to AD in the back water media environment of NOLA easier than being #1 in the media pressure cooker that is New York City.

In some respects it's like ZBo and Gasol only younger and infinitely more athletic. I don't know who the coach will be, but with Monty's stubbornness being a factor in the fallout, I would hope whoever Demps hires would be flexible enough to make a rich man's ZBo/Gasol work.

AD and Boogie get along fine. They both have worked out and played a little in Lexington. They are close enough that Brow had said if one player he could posterize? DeMarcus

3 players in the NBA averaged 20/10 Boogie and AD +LaMarcus Aldrich. We would have 2/3 of the biggest, bad arse All-Star and possible All NBA players in the game.
Boogie doesn't let the ball fly out of his hands on rebounds, and offensive force who can go coast to coast with a few crossovers. We could rebound with anyone, look at Boogies advanced stats....he can defend, block shots, and get steals at a high rate.
I have little doubt if Boogie was ask of he would play in NOLA with AD for Malone...a trade would be forced Who would we give up plus a slew of draft picks. With the right parts.....Bledsoe? we could be looking at the NBA champs for a few years, Drew who? Les? never heard of her.
