This team is no better than a 7th seed in the western conference. We need all the talent we can get. Ish Smith is surely not going to get us there.

getting the number one pick and getting AD has for some reason blinded some of y'all to how difficult it would be and what exactly would have to happen for us to be able to get Ben.

Yea, I'm staring to think Benny wouldn't be a fit with the Pels. He's not really a shooter. His game is much more of a power forward than a wing man and we def don't need another power forward.

His passing makes him valuable at almost every spot on the floor. I don't think his lack of a shot right now is that concerning. The knock on Lebron coming out was that he didn't have the greatest outside shot. We all see how that worked out

Agreed. But I was talking more about his overall game than team success

If you have players like AD and Ben on the same team and you didn't know how to use them, you don't deserve to coach that team.

That's true, maybe he can develop the shot, but I seriously doubt he'd come into the NBA and be as ball dominate as they are allowing him to be at LSU. I can't imagine him being allowed to handle it more than a current starting above average point guard already on an NBA team that drafts him....and we currently have two near elite ball handlers. I just don't see the fit as of now.

That's not how basketball works. AD would have to play a ton of center...not to sure he's built for that.

and we'd still be lacking a true wing player.

Sure as a rookie he won't be bringing the ball up a ton. But when his game develops he will be a true point forward.

some absolutely bullshite foul calls on him as he fouls out 30 seconds into OT.

Finished with 4 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks and 0 turnovers.

31 assists to 6 turnovers on the year so far.
