I'd be okay with losing every single game for the rest of the year if the pels had the gurantee of getting Lonzo. He's the next superstar in the nba.

We would be lucky to even be in the top 10.

Apparently his dad wants him to be drafted by the Pels.

Oh no, no no no no Lavar. This is not good. “Get away from TJ Leaf and give him Anthony Davis?”

I didn't realize we were only 3 games from a top 3 lottery chance. Yeah we're only 2 back from the playoffs but we're like 12 back from not getting murdered in the playoffs. How are we not sitting AD for long stretches to get fully healthy?

The warriors or spurs would both bounce us in 4 games. I totally agree. I would love to tank for Ball. It worked in Philly. They now have real difference makers that look capable of being elite.

Tank for Ball!

If we do much more tanking Davis is gonna force his way out .. then if we strike gold in the draft we'll have one star and an incompetent front office...... which is what we have now

And if we don't get more talent and be consistent a top 5 team in the west, Davis leaves.

Davis can't just "force his way out." There are these things called contracts, and he signed one. It's one year of tanking to get an elite PG for the next 10 years.

If we get the 7 seed, we both agree that the Spurs will embarrass us in 4 games? Will that make you happy? It won't make me happy. Until we have a squad capable of obtaining a 1-4 seed going into the playoffs I don't really see the point. The West is brutal.

The bottom line is without an AD injury tanking isn't realistic. If you get the opportunity to shut him down you tank. If not you have to become a 4-6 seed playoff team while signing reasonable contracts and hitting on draft picks to either develop or trade for the upgrade you need.

I thought he looked poor and uncomposed at USC with a couple of nice moments of brilliance

That's not true. Davis has not shown that he can carry this current roster to a 500 record. Tanking isn't hard with this team with some questionable rotations and playing guys like Hield for 30+ minutes. Bryon Scott was a master at this post NOLA.

How are you defining the current roster? They are playing .500 ball since Holiday returned, so with the current roster they are a .500 team.

Ever year they play 500 ball in spurts and like every year, reality will sink in and they'll start losing in bunches post all star break. Davis impact is clearly not a reflection of his stats. This has been a problem for all young bigs. Davis still doesn't handle closing games well. Until he does.l, I don't think Having Davis in the lineup means we can't tank or lose games.

Trade jrue to Chicago for rondo and a first. Find a way to trade Reke to Utah or Toronto. They both have 2 late 1st's. Get one of them. Then suck.
Draft Kansas SF Josh Jackson or Tatum with the 5th pick.
Draft Kentucky C Bam Adebayo with the 17th pick.
Draft Clemson SF senior Jarron Blossomgame with 27th pick
Draft Kansas PG davontae Graham with 2ND round pick, one was traded with Reke.
Resign Jones and DMo. Sign Shaun Livingston. Asik and Ajinca disappear. Call it an off-season.

You obviously haven't been watching Philly play lately. The PG (McConnell) looks very good. Noel is a good rebounder and defender.

I would trade our roster for Philly's in a second!
