Pels held all of the leverage. Most people said they'd be okay at $20 per but he got $21 mil. All pels had to do was match it.

To match their offer, if that's the best offer they were gonna make. Match it and move him at the trade deadline.

That is awful, Griff needs to go. They could have just matched and gotten a better return later if Lonzo pouted.

Satoransky and Temple can't be all we get. But I get the sense that the Pelicans didn't really value Ball, especially if he wasn't all in.
