Last reported info on ESPN is, "Gordon (shoulder) is going to take another week or two to decide if he'll undergo surgery, the Pelicans' official site reports. If he can avoid surgery, Gordon hopes to return in 3-4 weeks."

And, that was 13 days ago...

And, on 15 December from Nick Borges of ESPN, "Eric Gordon is working with the training staff to strengthen his left shoulder (torn labrum) and he's still on schedule to try to come back in a few weeks. Gordon believes he can play through the pain to avoid having surgery, which would likely end his season."

Anything new on our star 2-guard?

Just know he's been rehabbing and i think got back to shooting as part of the rehab. Not sure where he is on that timetable to return but doesn't seem like he's having the surgery and should come back.

That 3-4 weeks was the next time he's going to see a doctor. It's possible the doctor will say "it's not healing you need surgery." Gordon is hoping to rehab his way back but we won't know if it's working until that doctor visit.

Have the BSS guys commented on anything that Gordon told them at Tracey's?

Not other than what 42 said saying nothing of consequence was said.

This is probably his most frustrating injury. The team is finally making a playoff push, he was playing well on both ends, and he's finally embracing the team/city.

That's pretty good to hear.
