And you are the only person I recall ever actually offering contrary evidence to him just being a scorer. Sure it was based on your own eye test of a limited sample, but it was more than anyone else was providing. The Buddy love was pretty irrational here, they believed he was going to be great. That doesn't mean they were wrong, they just couldn't articulate why very well. Even Gentry has been surprised by his playmaking:

With Cheick what you see if what you get. He's going to be a kid who gets out and runs the floor. Does a lot of the things, he's had two double-doubles in the four games we've played.
