“The Lakers have offered a new package to New Orleans that includes multiple young players, multiple draft picks and Pelicans salary cap relief for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. The offer appears to move closer to the objectives that the Pelicans are pursuing in a deal.” Per woj

Take it.

Flip Kuzma/Ball for more picks.

Trade Jrue for young players + more picks.

We have the ability to have so much assets.

Things are going according to plan. I guess that cap relief would be Solo?

More like going according to script. They're playing everyone against each other and just added a few more teams to the mix. Nothing will probably come from this because nobody that can trade now has what the Pels really want, but there's always a chance someone goes crazy and is willing to grossly overpay.

I’m honestly getting worried Ainge is getting more skeptical about trading for AD. Don’t know what we would take from Bucks or Clippers and Knicks is looking more unlikely. Laker may be the best option at this point.

Lakers can go out and acquire lottery picks and then get back with us

The Lakers don't have the ability to overpay for AD right now. There's literally nothing they currently have that they could offer that would make me say yes over even the lesser trades Boston and NYK would offer.
Boston could, Denver could, Phoenix could, maybe Chicago

I don't see Lakers taking Solo at all unless they buy him out or trading him immediately, taking him would basically take them out of the race to get another big name free agent this offseason.

If anything these leaks say the anti-Boston parties involved are still worried about Boston, not that they think Ainge is getting cold feet.

Sounds like we are finally to the point where the Lakers should have STARTED their bid.

Now pull a rabbit out of your arse and turn those “assets” into something off our wishlist.

I understand that. But if AD and Rich Paul keep making it abundantly clear that he will not resign with the Celtics no matter what, why would Ainge give up Boston’s future?

I really hope Mac is right and they don’t do a trade with LA, just so I can laugh at the obnoxious people on reddit and Twitter

I’m guessing that this will be their best deal with the assets they current have.
