On the ESPN Women's World Cup page there is this cool article about Jrue and his wife, Lauren. I know it has nothing to do with free agency or trades or anything, but I thought it was a nice, feel good article. I couldn't imagine working the schedules they do.
There is one cool tidbit about how one of the Pelicans trainers is traveling with him during the tournament though which I found reassuring.

Gotta be difficult to keep some kind of normalcy when you have to schedule around not 1, but 2 professional athletes. Props to them for making it work.

Did it annoy anyone else that he didn't get a single mention/facetime on TV? The guy is a legit NBA player that's married to one of the best USMNT players and everyone and their momma knew he was traveling to all the games hardcore decked out in Red White and BLUE. Feels like they would have acknowledged other athletes if they would have been there supporting their spouse.

I heard him mentioned several times.The focus was on the game and teams/players. A vast majority of top players are well connected, to harp on each one would take away from the game.

Lauren is retiring from the National Team to focus on family. Her and Jrue are going to have some athletic kids!
