And you are dumb for wanting to pay the 20th best PG in the NBA who is injury prone with major knee issues $110 guaranteed over 5 years.

True fans of this franchise remember how one single bad contract (Pejas) was an albatross around our cap situation and ultimately led to the breakup of our big 3.

Holiday extension at above market value WILL sink AD's tenure here.

What you mean James Posey when he was suppose to the be the final piece in the Paul/West/Chandler combo?

James Posey was the desperation move that we made to counter the stunted growth caused by Pejas lingering contract. If we could have gotten out from under Peja after he choked like a bitch in the last 2 games of the Spurs series we wouldn't have had to make that desperation move for Posey.

We've already suffered through White Meccas horrendous deal (and his rumored demanding that we cut Casspri for religious reasons) and now you want to lock up a similarly overpaid player with injury issues

You mean the rumor that YOU started? Do you really think a guy that isn't playing and is most likely going to be stretched in the offseason has any control over player personnel moves?

No.
No.
No.
yeah Peja was overpaid, but he in no way was he the one bad contract and he did not lead us to that breakup.

Our idiot front office trying to trade Chandler, only for the trade to fall through, ended that run. It pissed off everyone on the team, CP3 and DWest more importantly, and Chandler never looked like he wanted to play for them again after that.

Back then, you could look at the box score and tell if the Hornets won. If Peja hit 4 threes in the game, very good chance we won, anything less, and we probably loss. He earned his money the year we loss to SAS. After that his back problems prevented him from ever really being effective again like he had been his whole career.

So I was looking at the Westbrook dunk that fouled out Cousins again, and what the frick is Jrue doing on defense? That is embarrassingly lazy defense when you're in a close game. Boogie might have been able to close out the game if he even gave a little bit of effort. Definitely not what you want to see out of your "Big 3" guard.

Jrue was getting blown by all game man. A few Of cousins' fouls came from bad D by Jrue.

probably respecting the fact that Westbrook can pull up right in his face for 3 right there in the waning minutes of a close game, and expecting help defense in the event Russ blows by him

He's russell westbrook, he's been blowing by the league to the tune of 31 ppg this season. Yes Jrue played shitty but are we really judging his defense against arguably one of the toughest guy in the league to guard ? give me a break

When did he have major knee issues? I thought his reoccurring injury was the stress fracture

Sir Winston likes to exaggerate and even post completely fabricated nonsense so he can use himself as a source later.

Fair enough, but I'd rather him let Russell pull up for a 3 rather than give up a driving lane. If he nails a 3 in front of him then oh well, but any time you let him get a free run to the basket I can't consider that acceptable defending.

I can deal with Holliday getting beat of the dribble by Westbrook and getting some easy layups and the occasional dunk.....he does it to everyone. What I do not get is his lack of offensive production during this stretch. Having A and DC should take some pressure off of him and he should be able to get some shots that are give mes.
