I'd say borderline at his peak. It's just a hard nut to crack in the West especially.

Think about it:

Curry, Paul, Lillard, Westbrook, Klay, Harden. Most of those guys are going to be around for a good while.

Though I think you begin getting a leg up on that stuff if you start regularly making it deep into the playoffs. If we can do that and Buddy is a big part of that, then he has a chance.

It's not just me saying it all the experts say it unlikely he ever becomes an all star but likely to be a very good starter

I'm a big buddy fan, but it would be a giant reach to think he would be an all star. Like others have said, his ceiling isn't that high. If he can come in and score 15-20 a game, he will be plenty good enough, especially for a 22 year old #6 pick.
