Although I think this draft has some solid players,I do not believe that any real stars will come out from this class. I would be interested in trading down this year. My idea would be to trade down to the Hawks for the 17th and 18th pick and draft McCollum(if available) and KCP. I really think these two players would really upgrade our team over lets say trey burke

KCP might not fall to 18.

I'm against trading our 6th spot this unless it involves a terrible teams first for next year. We just need to trust the scouting department to pick the 6th best player to develop into a quality starter for us.

The guys you want to target may well go top 10 and are guys I'd be happy with at 6. 17 and 18 is definitely too far to trade back. There will be players worthy of the 6th pick in this draft, there always are. The key is to pick them rather than let them fall because the mocks say the shouldn't be drafted until later.

I'm on board with this. If it were up to me, a trade would have to net us an unprotected pick from the Hornets, Wizards, Suns or Kings. Or I'd have to get a player I thought could start at the 3 for the pick. Otherwise, lets get Saric or Len and keep truckin'!

How about this idea.

Pels get: Jeremy lamb and the 12th pick

Thunder get: our sixth pick

It makes scenes because there is really no difference between talent from 6-12 and i really like Jeremy Lamb from last years draft.

What do yall think?

I was listening to a Simmons podcast and they talked about Lamb. Basically they described when he got to OKC and during the 1st practice, the team realized the dude had no chance to make an impact this year. He is light years away from being a player in the league. Jones wasn't that great either..

If OKC offered both 1sts this year (6th and 29th) and included a future 1st, I'd consider that. They could grab Franklin and a Center prospect (Withey?), which would be alright. Plus it's always good to have ammo in the future for other trades..
