I have noticed this, but that's not the point I was trying to make. Just trying to point out that 3 syllables should not be a strike for the Pelicans.
That said I am on board with the Pelicans because I feel like it should be given its own name/identity. Brass is already associated with the hockey team that was here not too long ago, and Voodoo is already associated with the CURRENT arena league team. Why not give the NBA team its own thing? Plus, as we've seen with some of the fan proposed logos, Pelicans CAN look pretty sweet if done right.
