Rushed had nothing to do with it. You are jut moving logos around. I could make 20 designs in an hour. They just picked a shitty one. I doubt this is what the real one will look like. At least I hope so.

Well, just to be contrary (who, me?), I'll say that I kind of like a very simple design. I hate a lot of crap on the court. I wouldn't mind it being slightly darker, but it'll probably look a little different in person than it does on a computer screen.

FWIW, that lane design isn't legal. They will have to delineate the neutral zone, at least.

Just another illustration of 42's point. I really think adding the lines would break up the block of gold that is the lane a bit better from an artistic standpoint. Being legal is another part of it. It's just another one of those small details that they are missing in the rebrand. It just doesn't seem like a coherent plan moving forward.
I do like the other rendering with the neutral zone in red, but I don't dislike this one at all.
