And yall thought I was crazy when I said we should have traded him for Spyder when the Jazz had their fire sale.

To go All in on an one year rental? Why?

The Cavs are about to take a huge L on that trade

Yup, I get CJ has disappeared in the clutch many many times but, as has been pointed out, he should be the third option. Also, he is the one that changed his game for the betterment of the team and shot very well from 3 on high volume this season, which is exactly what BI should have done. With that said, there is an argument to be made that having him as the 6th man on this team and trading BI for a bigger guard or "true" PG is the best path forward. I don't think the latter really exists as there aren't too many of those type of PGs out there but you could get Trae and have CJ off the bench. I still prefer trading BI+ for Evan Mobley though. He makes so much sense on this roster at the 5, especially if he continues to work on his 3 point game.

Fricking Thank you.

CJ has his issues, but I have a lot more patience with him than BI. I can live with CJ for another year maybe 2. I cannot go into next season with BI. It's a non starter for me

Get what you can for BI.
There's no way this team will do anything to let you down!!!

Replace Jonas with another 6’10”+ guy that can make point blank layups and win jump balls
There aren't many Val upgrades you will find in that price range.

I’m just sick of watching CJ in a pels uniform. Great community guy, terrible basketball player when it matters most. Attach a first if we have to get rid of him and his 30+ mil contract for the next two seasons
Oh

You really want to make this team as bad as possible, never mind, carry on.

Man I'm so tired of the CJ hate
Best 3 point shooter in the NBA, and we want to attach 1sts to move him and make the offense MUCH worse...and people actually think this will help the team

I don’t understand the CJ hate, especially after we just had a sample of him being fantastic with Z with no BI.

Our clutch issues have stemmed from the team identity and hierarchy issues created by the coaching staff and front office going into this season. That, hopefully, will not be an issue going into next season.

I know it's cliche and people think the response is arrogant, but the answer is the people saying that just really don't understand basketball.

He's sucked these past few games, that's obvious.

But the lengths people go with their hot takes really shows you how limited their understanding of basketball is.

Our clutch issues
Another thing I've said over and over and over but those folks will never care about, CJ was statistically better in the clutch than Zion and BI this season. But CJ gets more hate than both of those dudes combined.

Same with turnovers, CJ gets 10x more hate about turnovers than those 2 combined, and yet takes care of the ball better than both.

I think it's because most fans think CJ is supposed to be our #1 (at least with the way they dog him at times).
CJ is a good 3rd option. Hell, I think he'd be awesome coming off the bench.

But, when Z is hurt and BI is playing like warmed over dogshit, CJ has to be more than he's capable at times.

CJ is fine. We need to move BI for someone who fits better and we need a better coach.

ea...or not supposed to be #1, but when we need him to be a #1, people expect him to produce like a #1, which is just unrealistic.

Is there some Bi nobody has told us about

The BI on the Pelicans is not top 10 in the west.

Hell, he’s arguably close to not being top 10 in the Southwestern Conference
