If Carl Landry was a good rebounder we might not be talking about drafting a PF. Landry averaged 7 rpg his last year at Purdue while TRob is one of the best rebounders in college basketball averaging almost 12 rpg.

rebounding is about the surest thing that translates from college to the NBA game. TRob will be a 11-12 RPG guy.

The question is, can he guard PF's in the NBA especially in the Western Conference. Duncan, ZBO, Aldridge, Love, Gasol, Blake,Lee, Millsap

Don't be surprised when he turns into Amare in a few years.

What does TRob and Amare even have in common?

TRob is pretty athletic for a 4. I've seen him take his defender off the dribble from the 3 point line. Plus he can shoot from almost anywhere on the court and has a decent post game. The only thing that will hurt him is that he's 1 or 2 inches shorter.

Just curious

the games I watched he seemed to stay in the post a lot

Im anxious to check him out this weekend. I love his game, I think he can be a Demarcus Cousins type player but with a lot better of an attitude

Yeah he stays in the post more than Amare does but he still has a similar skill set. Tomorrow's game should be fun because we will be able to judge how both he and Sullinger play against NBA quality forwards. I personally think he's going to outperform Sullinger by a convincing margin.

Robinson should be a better rebounder than Stoudemire in the league too.

MKG, Drummond, Jones, Barnes, and Beal will all be better pros than Robinson.

Drafting TRob with the 2nd pick is starting the engine on next year's tank.

He also thinks D'Antoni would be a better coach for us than Monty. Pay no attention to him.

It was an exaggeration, but I do believe it would be a wasted pick at number 2.

He reminds me exactly of Jordan Hill. He plays for a coach and system that showcases him. It helps him put up great numbers, but I see very little of that translating into the nba when he's not playing overmatched big men.

I'd much rather take Drummond. People hate him here, but his floor is Serge Ibaka with a ceiling like Dwight. Even if he never develops an offensive game, he will still be a game changing defensive player.

Neither he nor Perry Jones are focal points of their teams offense, but both will explode when they can play pick and roll ball with a player like Gordon.

TRob is going to be the best player to come out of this draft IMO

So what do you think of the Amare comparison?

I don't really see it. There measurables are similar, but play different games.

Amare is more of a finesse 4, TRob is a physical 4.

I wouldnt mind kidd gilchrist over TRob...he's averaging about 15 in the tourney and has 10 right now. He will struggle offensively and defensively in the league being undersized against big PF's

MKG will give us another scorer and a decent passer

There's not many sure things in this draft, it's so hard to choose

I tend to agree with MKG over Robinson. Robinson's just not overly impressive.
