If we do fire Gentry, who would you like to see as Head Coach?

I imagine this would be a very wanted job. No media scrutiny, plus Ingram/Zion, and a top 5 pick this year.

It's probably equivalent to Budenholzer taking the Milwaukee jobs a couple of years ago.

Eta: Didn't see the other question on here sorry

I think you’re kidding, but anyone saying Mark Jackson should be shot on sight.

Anyone but the woman that has had her name floated around. We do not need to be breaking barriers we want to win as fans.

I still don't see the point in firing Gentry right now. Sure I want there to be consequences for our record but I also don't want these young players to be developing without direction. I see the best scenario of waiting till 10-15 games left in the season and giving Chris Finch a tryout for the job. Otherwise we are just leaving our guys without a coach during important development time plus we haven't even see Zion yet.

I think everyone should understand Gentry isn't getting fired this year...as much as we want it to be. But we can think of who we want next year though.

Especially with the improvement being shown

It would have to go horribly downhill once Zion comes back for them to move away from Gentry during the season..

In fact, everything is still lining up for Gentry to be "promoted" to the front office next season, which is what the team ultimately wants imo

Sean Payton. I mean the man is an offensive genius so lets see what he can do with Zion

On the flip side, this offense is tailor made for this team. With Jrue, BI, Zo and Zion soon you might be concerned about touches. A situation like OKC where they could not figure out how to integrate KD, Harden and Westbrook. Gentry’s emphasis on ball movement will keep them all engaged. When Zion returns I don’t think you will see a significant dip in their numbers while adding 18-24 from Zion. Issue is going to be maintaining their defensive intensity of the past week and a half and dont start trying to only focus on just out scoring the opponent.
