that just isn't true. They made a few substantial coaching personnel changes, drastic player personnel changes. This is going to be the last straw. They had accountability on monty williams.

Mickey Loomis is the President of Basketball Operations. Not a basketball guy. Mickey Loomis. Loomis has also commented that he basically has nothing to do with the Pelicans. That's right...the President of Basketball Operations of the Pelicans has almost nothing to do with the Pelicans.

Dell Demps has been the GM for 7 years and made the playoffs once, with a generational talent, for what? 5 of those years? His record is dogshit.

There is no accountability.

there has been accountability and demps is a large part of the problem but you can't just sit here and say 100% everything has been on demps. This coaching hire will be on demps for sure.

Mickey Loomis would put out a fire and that's about it. Monty/Demps got into a Him or Me power struggle and Loomis chose Demps. I think if Monty/Demps had managed to get along Monty would still be here too.

The answer is Dell Demps has been fully in charge of this team for 7 years. Seven. He has had an absolute superstar for 5 of them.

His teams have made the playoffs once.

The buck stops with the person that puts together the roster, picks the players, hires the coach, and is generally in charge of everything.

That is Dell. He has failed.

Go back to football, something you know about.

In 3 years it will be me. Laugh if you want, but I've got something up my sleeve that's Mark Cuban-esque.

My first move will be to find a spot in the front office for TigerinATL.

You yourself said you knew Demps job is safe when he pulled off a trade for a top 10ish NBA Player. So you STFU and go back to football and stop acting like you're MR. Hindsight 20/20 basketball wizard. Pels suck. Just like 20 other nba franchises.

I'm hopeful that AD/DC works, but if it doesn't they'll suck in more of a raging dumpster fire way like about 5 other NBA franchises.

[link=(I also said in the same thread I PERSONALLY was 100% for firing him. Just that he would NOT be, and that he had saved his job with the trade.)]LINK[/link]

You proved your point. I totally agree with your OP as well.
