If an expansion draft were to happen, what 8 players would you protect?

I was watching the Bad Boys 30 for 30 documentary the other day and the idea of the expansion draft intrigued me to see what PT thought.
Since there isn't much going on this board, hypothetically speaking, what 8 players on the Pelicans 2013-2014 roster would you protect besides the obvious...
1. AD
2. Jrue
3. Ryno
4. Reke

This assumes that Morrow opts out.
The idea is to leave Gordon available and possibly offer considerations (future 2nd, another player, etc.) to one of the expansion teams in order to take Gordon and get him off our payroll.

This assumes that Morrow opts out.

this is pretending that an expansion draft would be this year?
if so I agree with you. If it is next year then you would protect Gordon so you can move him for as an expiring.

Do I have to pick 8? If so, put Pierre Jackson in there. He is worth more than most of the other players on the roster.

That was the general amount of players u could safely keep. So, yes. 8.

The only player on the roster worth protecting is AD.
Other than that, it's apparent why the Pels went 34-48 in 2014.

Kind of an easy question because we wouldn't have to give up scrubs, let alone our good players if we can only keep 8.
