Sure you do. From a franchise perspective, you say yes and hang up and pray that you weren't dreaming until the paperwork goes through.

Understanding the point of view the original post was made from, it's easy to see that he could have worded this much better.

It's worded just fine. Not understanding calculus doesn't make calculus stupid.

He's a Pelicans fan, so the only way he's trading Anthony Davis is trading him away. So from that perspective, it seems like he's saying he would trade AD for any other player in the league, minus LeBron.

Your poor calculus analogy doesn't apply.

It would have been better and much more clear to say "I would not trade AD for any player in the NBA, save LeBron." Then everyone would be on the same page.

Nobody said shite about his logic. It's his sentence structure that blows.

The clear intent of the sentence is that he would give up any player in the NBA for Anthony Davis other than LBJ. It is only awkward because it's written from the point of view of a team that does not have AD already. Everybody understand now?

Can we move on?

His sentence structure is fine. It really isn't hard to comprehend in any way.

The for is in front of Davis, not players. There is only one thing that sentence can mean. The perspective is irrelevant.
