I predict people will do the opposite of what they do with Asik because they want to believe in the new guy. With Asik, every bad thing is pointed out while nothing good is acknowledged. The opposite is being done right now with Jones IMO

That is not what I said.

What I said was that he was a pretty decent player before he had that nerve injury.

He had a damaged nerve in his leg where he couldn't move or feel his leg for a month. When he eventually recovered, he wasn't the same player last season. He went from being a starter to being the last man off the bench.

He was not an NBA-caliber player last season.

I said whether or not he can recover from that injury and regain his form is yet to be seen.

I made no projection about how good he would be in the future. Only that last year he was terrible.
