The Hornets up to this point have played the hardest schedule in the league (SOS at .533). They stand at 9-25. They have 48 games left.

Glancing at the schedule, it's not going to be much easier than the first 34 games (no more bobcats).

That said, now that the team seems to be relatively healthy, what are your expectations heading into all-star break and beyond? Do you see them playing .500 ball the rest of the season with Gordon healthy? Maybe above .500? Is there any chance in hell they finish the season near the 41-41 mark (that would mean 32-16 down the stretch)?

I think they finish the last 48 games at around 25-23 to end the season with 34 wins.

i wish but extremely doubtful. with 48 games left i believe we go about .500 from here out. i hope we do better but we are still a young team and a bad night from gordon away from losing most games

I expect us to go around .500

Which is much better then the crap we were watching before Gordon came back.

It all depends on Aminu IMO. Outside of the handful of games where Aminu has looked good the play at SF has been really, really, really terrible. If he plays well then this is definitely an above .500 team.

If Aminu plays the way he played the first 2 or so weeks of the season, then this team is above .500 with a healthy Gordon

Couldn't agree more on the Aminu point. He has looked like a real NBA player lately. I say .500 or a little better from here on out assuming we stay healthy and Aminu doesn't revert back to a few weeks ago.

Aminu looked like an NBA player again over the last 2 games. Monty clearly knows how to work with him after benching him for a while. Just hope he can keep it up this time around.

3-1 with Gordon
Something like 9-4 when he does play from last year.
Our schedule gets a lot easier after this month. I say over .500 ball is to be expected barring injury. The west is going to continue to beat each other up which will help us in the final standings. Exciting times!

We've been pretty solid with an extremely rusty Gordon. Can't wait to see what we look like once he's back to his regular percentages.

Honestly I was looking at the standaings last night and saw we were one game out of the 8th seed. A man can believe but maybe there is a chance we make the playoffs.

Is that 'IF' sculpture made out of ice cream sandwiches? I could use an ice cream sandwich right about now.

shite, we would have to play .750 basketball to hit .500. Stern would drop the #8 seed no matter who it was to put us there because they will be above .500.

yeah it's definitely less than a 1% chance to hit .500 for the entire season. but i think there's a pretty decent chance that they can play .500 from here on out

Having Gordon changes a hell of a lot, to say the least. But, yes . . . as fricking frightening as it may sounds . . . and it scares the shite out of me . . . much of the rest of this season will depend upon the play of Aminu.
