Davis looks like he's going to make the leap to stardom this year. If he keeps up his preseason pace he'll make the All Star team.

Jrue Holiday has looked pretty good so far except for too many turnovers in the first few games. However, he's been much better since Monty switched the lineup to have another ball handler (Rivers or Gordon rather than Morrow) out there with him, so I don't think it will be a problem in the regular season.

Tyreke Evans looked good in about 10 minutes of play before spraining an ankle. He should be back by opening night if not sooner.

Gordon played his first game last night and was great. 21 points in 21 minutes on 9 shots. He had lots of 3s and got to the line a lot.

Aminu looks like he's going to continue the progress he made last year of reducing his spaz moments by focusing more on what he does best. He's also hit his jump shots at a pretty decent clip in preseason.

Ryan Anderson has been himself which is good.

Anthony Morrow is very good at spot up 3s like you'd expect a career 42% guy to be. When he and Anderson are on the court together with 2 creators the spacing should be great.

Brian Roberts picked up where he left off. Not great defensively but is a good shooter and streaky scorer. He pretty much closed out 3 of the wins so far with scoring outbursts in the 4th quarter.

Rivers looks a little better but still is a work in progress and can't hit free throws like he should.

Stiemsma looks terrible and we'll have a hole at center this season.

Smith is injured again, his hip this time.

Seeds 7-12 in the West will be a tight race determined by injuries and streaks. Basically whoever has the best luck of those teams will get the last 2 playoff spots.
