Nice to see the praise and virality of GTA continue, most interesting thing is they framed it like Jose will be back playing tonight?

The interview I caught with Trajan made it seem like to me that Jose might not play at all, if he is, actually makes me want to tune in even if Dyson is out.

I think the injury scare at the World Cup made the Pelicans weary about playing Jose in the Summer League. I remember recalling hearing somewhere that Alvarado would play a little bit very early on. But that obviously changed.

I’m still going to watch to scout Matkovic and see how Liddell establishes himself on offense. His defense is as advertised.

The fan favorite said he found it jarring to be walking around with former NBA player and Puerto Rican native Carlos Arroyo or former NBA point guard Mike Bibby, and people would want to take pictures with just him.

"I'm like, 'Do y'all know who this is?'" Alvarado said.

I keep having flashbacks to the middle of last season when some people (including myself on a couple of occasions) said that making the playoffs without Zion was meaningless.

WRONG.

Jose is probably nicked up from
The World Cup. Watching his summer league interview and he has both knees iced.

Those discussions often leave out the nuance. I was against backing our way in because other teams fell apart. But it's completely different when you win your way in because you've gotten better as a team.

We also will be eternally indebted to Russell Westbrook. Probably half the fan base would have been pissed at making the playoffs if we didn't have the Lakers pick in hand.

Yes, we were much more united after the deadline, when beating the Lakers and finishing above them in the standings helped us get the pick.

I was mostly against tanking, but I do remember a couple of occasions before the deadline when I unfortunately stated that I didn't want to make the playoffs if we didn't have Zion.
