This is obviously a dude that has no idea what he's talking about... But if this did happen, I'd suck my own dick.

Gordon just turned 25.
Noah will be 29 in a month.

They have very similar contracts.
Bulls are a long way from where they want to be.
Pelicans aren't far from where they want to be.

It is actually logical for this to happen. Bulls are in desperate need of a SG (unless they're content with Jimmy Butler)
Pelicans are in desperate need of a C.

Bulls want to get younger and build around Rose.
Pelicans want a veteran leader for the already young team.

According to the ESPN Trade Machine, they could not be traded heads up. This works perfectly, we get rid of two cancers on this team. LINK

If only we could throw Monty in there.

Gordon is pretty popular for such an undesirable contract. Today I read an article from a Knicks blogger and an OKC blogger talking about how they'd like to trade for Gordon. The proposed returns aren't great, but there's definitely a lot of interest.

I haven't seen/heard much interest in Gordon since he was put on the block 2.5 years ago...

*I'm not disagreeing with your post, but all I've seen is a ton of 'too expensive for an injury prone/average player'

This is the first time he's been healthy and productive in 2.5 years. And I'm not saying he'll get a lot, the Knicks blogger didn't suggest a trade because the Knicks have no assets to trade. The OKC blogger suggested Perkins and Sefalosha. But the perception of him has changed since his name floated out there last year with Klay Thompson and got laughed at.

No way we get Noah.

Let's Get Omer

One of the three comments in the op link says that the rumor is Boozer for Gordon. Any truth to that? Bc that would blow.

that trade would make us incredibly stacked.

Holiday
Rivers
Aminu
Davis
Noah

Evans and Anderson leading the second unit.

The Pelicans would be a force next year. I don't even know if Monty could frick that up.

I would have Evans play more minutes than Rivers, but I would bring Evans in to run the offense with the second unit.

Obviously Evans would finish games
