The two guys who kept us in the game. As usual, iso-ball from CJ and BI leads to a loss.

It seemed like that was the plan, then cj had the ball tipped and it fricked up whatever they were going to do. Trey definitely looked like he was expecting the ball.

Which brings into question why we’re calling for a 3, but I digress.

Yep. Ingram should come off the bench, he's become a liability. Jonas abused Holmgren underneath the entire game. When you are dominating the glass on both sides, you shouldn't lose, home or away. This team can only win when they shoot well from 3. Willie is a Golden State guy, but we don't have Steph or Klay Thompson.

Go for the win, you don’t want to gi into overtime game 1 on the road, OKC would have had all the momentum

To snatch one on the road! Drain their confidence.

All that’s happened now is that the series is how it’s supposed to be.

I don’t think we’ll win game 2 either. OKC’s nerves will probably be out the window now as they got away with one… and they’ll play a more free flowing game next time.

Then the pressure is on us back at home and we know how we play under pressure at home…

That fricking final play… those 4 fricking offensive rebounds and that dumb shite Larry pass to Trey. So many fricking things…

Yeah CJ had the ball knocked away
so we don’t know what might have been. Even so, I think it’s obvious that the Pels can beat this team.

I mean even with the ball being poked away CJ got a pretty clean look. It just didn’t fall.

Both teams shot the ball pretty horrendously so I have no idea what to expect moving forward. BI has to play more physical for us to have a chance. Dort and Williams just moved him around all game.

Yeah, I can’t blame CJ, that ball was a half inch away from falling

CJ is definitely blaming himself though, in the post game he said he should have attacked sooner and there were other shots he should have hit and giving up the offensive rebound to Dort hurt

Under three minutes you knew what was coming.

Trey didnt get a shot after the 7 min mark in the 4th I believe.

Pretty sure the rub screen pick and pop was supposed to lead to a CJ attack then kick to Trey, or a quick swing to Trey depending on the defense.

Then the play didn’t work and CJ decided to play hero ball instead

But the road IS our home. So a OT would have been better

The issue is when they do the iso ball.

So often its at the beginning of the possession, they sit at the top wasting 15sec and then we are forced to do iso for 8sec.

Move the fricking ball around. They are both ball stoppers.

Iso isn't the problem, unnecessary ball stopping is.

CJ gets a pass because he does have alot in his arsenal.

BI is a PUSSY. Ill give you a full rundown of 3/4 of his possessions:

1. Get ball and dribble for 10 sec
2. Pussy arse back down attempt for 5 sec (not in a position to score or look for pass)
3. Dribble back to original spot after not being able to move an inch
4. Forced shot
5. Refuse to ever take a 3pt shot
6. Rinse and repeat

CJ does this shite too except he also has a floater, shoots transition 3's, and passes the ball faster (sometimes).

Now that I think of it BI may be the ONLY player in the NBA that will take 15-20 seconds in the backcourt and never attempt a 3pt shot.

You know how fricking stupid that sounds/ looks in the grand scheme of things?

It's pretty easy for opposing teams to take Trey away down the stretch, he can't create his own shot and teams are not going to help off of him.

The honest truth is that CJ/ BI are not good enough to be "first option iso" unless they are in their spot or already in rhythm.

No open shot first 5 seconds? Pass the ball.
It comes back to you at the end of the shot clock? Do what you want.

Neither deserve to sit there and be "that guy" to start the possession. We need ball movement unless that 1 player is named Zion.

Problem here is Trey really can't create his shots in iso, virtually everything he does is 3s or attacking close outs.

And in late game situations, running him off screens likely doesn't work because teams just switch.

Trey is just not a guy you roll the ball to and let him make a play in a spot like that.
