His gimmick system doesn't work without 2-3 well above average shooters, and he knows it. In his interviews, he consistently says that the team is killing itself through lack of effort on the boards, poor execution on offense, and a general lethargy. Newsflash, the coach is to blame for almost 100% of those problems. We'll really get to see if the franchise is committed to winning now by how they handle the coaching situation through the rest of the year.

He's been awful, bottom 3 coach this season.

And I liked the hire, so I have no dog in this fight, he's just been terrible this season.

It's BS when coaches coaching so poorly call out their team because if the player calls out the coach, then it's a huge deal.

Very similar to Monty in that he refuses to hold players accountable. He prob told tyreke "common man that's a bad shot you aren't a jump shooter" and Reke said "yes sir". He'll come out and take the same shot all over again.

Monty benched Tyreke multiple times and he usually played better the next game. I'm not sure who Gebtry was threatening to bench if Tyreke was sick and asked out of the game.
