First day of the season conference predictions

First day, and I'm ready for some basketball. Going to be a good one b/c i honestly think there aren't two clear cut choices to be in the Finals like most years have been.
You could easily name 8 teams that have a legit shot at making the finals this year.
Western Conference:
1. Nuggets
2. Suns
3. Warriors
4. Clippers
5. Grizzlies
6. Pelicans
7. Mavs
8. Blazers
9. Wolves
10. Lakers
11. Kings
12. Spurs
13. Jazz
14. Rockets
15. Thunder
Eastern Conference:
1. Bucks
2. 76ers
3. Celtics
4. Hawks
5. Nets
6. Raptors
7. Cavs
8. Heat
9. Bulls
10. Wizards
11. Knicks
12. Hornets
13. Pistons
14. Magic
15. Pacers
I think this is the deepest the Eastern Conference has been this century.
Injuries are obviously going to play a big role as always, but you could easily see 50+ wins from 10+ teams this year. An average year has 6 or 7 50+ win teams. I think the seedings are going to be very close throughout the year. You miss your top 1 or 2 player for 10-20 games and you could fall 5 spots easily in either conference. I think there's going to be a lot of good teams (46-53 wins) with 2 maybe 3 really good ones (54+ wins) that don't have any major injury issues, and then you're going to see a bunch of really bad teams(<32 wins). That middle ground (35-41 win teams) doesn't include a whole lot of teams like it has in the past. I think you could easily say who i have 1 through 10 for the west are all teams that can win a playoff series, and same could be said for 1-8 for the east.
Finals:
Clippers over the Bucks

Finals Sixers over the Clippers

Sixers match up horribly against Clippers. Clips would dominate a 7 game series. but that won't happen anyway

Sixers are the best, deepest team in the league this season. Embiid would feast against the Clippers and they have ton of bodies to throw at George/Leonard. This is the year for the Sixers, do or die..

West by tier-
Warriors
Grizzlies
Nuggets
Clippers
Pels
Wolves
Suns
Mavs
Kings
Lakers
Blazers
Rockets
Thunder
Spurs
Jazz
East by tier-
Bucks
Celtics
Nets
Sixers
Cavs
Raptors
Heat
Hawks
Bulls
Knicks
Wizards
Pistons
Magic
Pacers
Hornets
The Hornets, Spurs, and Jazz all look to be competing heavily in the Wematanye sweepstakes. Two have traded their talent while the Hornets have a mix of injuries and legal issues which have depleted them.
Indy probably wants to tank but they have enough talent to be bad but not horrible unless they move Turner.

Playoff Jim Harden will make sure they don't make the finals

This is excellent. I'd move the Suns up to the top tier and drop the Grizzlies down to the 2nd tier, but I otherwise agree completely.

People are raving about Maxey. He is getting all star buzz. Harden might shift to #3.

Remains to be seen about the Suns.
I think the elimination game broke them mentally and that Ayton and Monty’s rift is going to be a big problem.

Suns are gonna take a huge step back. I also think the Mavs and Grizz will too.
Nuggets, Clips and Pels are on the rise.

This is probably the best. Only change I'd make is knocking the Grizzlies down. I just don't think they're that good.
I also think the Cavs and Hawks are pretty close.

Who is the Mavs second best player?
They don't really have one. As good as Doncic is, I just can't believe in a team with no No. 2 or even a No. 3 or 4.
It's a one-man team.Like if you were ranking assets Mavs vs Pels would it go like this?
Doncic
Zion
Ingram
CJ
Herb
Jonas
Then you could get into a debate on Dinwidde, Dorian Finney Smith, Hardaway, etc., but even then I'd take Nance and Jose over most of those guys.
