FAQ:What Just Happened On Draft Night?

For all the new fans who don't know much about the Hornets here is what happened.
1)The New Orleans Hornets just selected Anthony Davis, PF, out of the University of Kentucky with the #1 pick. When he started High School he was a 6 Ft. 3 in. guard. After a massive growth spurt he grew to 6 ft. 11in. his senior year. He was the leading scorer for Kentucky while only shooting the 4th most shots on the team that won the National Championship and had 6 players drafted this year. Coach Monty Williams says “We have added an incredibly talented, athletic big man with great length who is also a proven winner. In getting to know him, he’s also a high-character kid and someone I look forward to helping develop further.” Experts think he relates to a Kevin Garnett/Tyson Chandler/Tim Duncan/LaMarcus Aldrige type player. T his was a great pick A+.
10)With the tenth overall pick the New Orleans Hornets selected Austin Rivers, Guard, out of Duke University. He is the son of Celtics Head Coach Doc Rivers. He is a scoring guard that feels he has the skills to be a Point Guard playing along side Shooting Guard Eric Gordon. Before the draft he said himself about being drafted in New Orleans "I had a great work out there. I love [coach] Monty Williams and [GM] Dell Demps, everyone there. It's a great city. I'm actually really good friends with Anthony. We've already created a little chemistry. It would be really neat to play there with a team on the rise. Eric Gordon is going to be an all-star in a couple of years. I'd be really excited if that happens.'' He is known to be a selfish player and a streaky shooter but with Monty along side his problems can wash away. Reminds me of a D-Will/Tyreke Evans/Russel Westbrook type player. Grade B+.
Eric Gordon is a restricted Free Agent meaning that if another team offers him money and he accepts it the Hornets can either match the price and keep him or let him go. The Hornets say they want to keep Eric Gordon no matter the price.
46) With the 46th pick the New Orleans Hornets selected Darius Miller a 6-8 Shooting Guard/ Small Forward also from Kentucky. Miller was a full-time starter as a junior, but played mostly a reserve role, averaging 9.9 points, as a senior for Kentucky's 2012 national championship squad. He can be a good backup role player for the team. He fills a hole because we previously did not have a backup Small Forward. Good pick but migh be nothing. Grade B.
sticky for new fans and tell me more I should add.

There's not nearly enough grammatical errors in that for you to have written that yourself.

You have posted a gif with nothing to add and become that which you hate.
Can't blame you, this is the kind of thread that makes the conversion happen.

The idea of a sticky made him sticky, assuming he is post-pubescent.

What a terrible thread. Look here new fans...I will explain to you..I'm a knowledgeable poster.
We get it..some of us have posted here longer. I think its time for lester, Hendo, myself, and few others to pound our chest since our annoyance on msb caused the board since we are all proving our fan hood by who posted on here before who
