I hated the last answer in that interview. So easy to tell he doesn't want to be here

I was thinking the same thing. But he did acknowledge that he's stuck in NO in the next 4 years, and he'll give it his all.

It might only be 3 years if he plays well.

At the Saints game

inform them that draft position is more important than a victory today

i'm watching the game and am finding it hard to want them to lose but a victory here gets us nothing but maybe 24 hours of satisfaction a loss is the difference between maybe a 13th pick and a 17th pick. that is an enormous difference when we need a playmaker on defense and this is really the only year in the foreseeable future that we will be picking this early.

Actually, I think there are going to be all sorts of moves in the offseason. Not sure that we know what our draft position will be.

A win secures a non losing season. For a team without their head coach, that's not a bad achievement.

someone on saints talk did the calculations last week and it was something similar to what i said. you can act all high and mighty but the fact of the matter is a loss here is more beneficial than a victory today.

a loss gets us a better draft pick. what would you rather a moral victory or a better draft pick. i'm going with the latter
