Down 2 and Zion is in transition. Had a smaller man on him but didn’t really have numbers so I’m okay pulling it out. What I don’t like is then slowing down, not moving the ball at all, and using 20 seconds just to settle for a tough Herb Jones 3.

Then at the end, I know the play didn’t go exactly as you wanted. But in reality we got Zion going down hill, he gets triple teamed and I dk kind of made a panic pass. He probably should’ve just taken the shot he had a head of stem going downhill.

Frustrating losing 2 straight and we’ve had some good momentum leading into the series.

There will be some nights when the math just catches up to you. People are bitching about defense. We gave up 114 tonight. That is right about what we give up on the season. People are really bitching about Zion’s defense. I get it, he wasn’t great on that end tonight.

However, the three worst +/- on the team were Herb, Dyson, and Hawkins. They looked like they were trying hard but they were out of position all night and allowed Clarkson and a rookie to kill them. Their defense was not up to par tonight. When you can’t shoot and you can’t guard the other team’s guards, you will lose most of the time.

Thankfully, Trey and CJ should be back within the week.

He had numbers. There was no help defense behind Collins in the paint.

End game gets put under a microscope cuz we lost.

Lesson is the team hasn’t quite jelled enough to take care of business. We thought we were hitting stride after the last stretch but it might take a little longer.

Can feel a win streak on the horizon tho
