It has been my experience that anytime a thread title has these two words in it, without going any further the most obvious answer is NO.

He is still a good player when he's "happy" and gives effort.

But when he becomes unhappy with his role (and he will be unhappy at some point because he's a prima donna) he will become passive aggressive and purposely not give effort. He'll silently protest and show that he's unhappy by not giving effort and hurting the team.

That's the kind of mental makeup he has... and he could help a team for a while, but if things get a little rocky he becomes cancer.
