Does anyone know exactly how the Party Perch will work?

Do you buy a ticket to the game for an actual seat and then have access to the Party Perch?
Do you only buy a game ticket to the Party Perch?
On the arena seating chart it lists the Party Perch in sections 322, 323, 324. If you buy a ticket for section 322, is that a ticket for the party perch?

Anyone can enter.

Can you buy a ticket only for the PP? I thought I remember someone comparing it to an SRO ticket, like Dallas does in the new stadium: you buy a ticket for that, not necessarily a specific "seat" in the arena, and are relegated to stay there the whole time.

Maybe that is the Hub Club, but there are some seats there, just not many.
The Perch area is way smaller and can't hold too many people at once.

That's a view from the concourse looking through the bar to the bowl. You can get a drink, hang out, see the game from the bar area on tv or live. There's just not enough room to make it available to everyone in "perch seats" and no clear mechanism (or incentive) to exclude others.
It's just an amentity, and proximity to it has a small cost to those who were paying the least and are near it.
You can also see the bandstand area. They can put tables up there, too. Not sure how that works for fans.

It's just another chance to sell stuff to people while they watch the game. It's a novelty. Maybe you see Kermit Ruffins once a year up by you for no further cost. Whatever. It's not my thing, but I get it.
I don't think it has to be universally loved to be successful. I think it just needs to sell drinks and allow higher priced seats.
