Do we now have a better shot at Lowry?

No major teams have really come out and said they want to sign him yet. I feel like this guy is being slept on. He's very, very good and I think we should let Jrue walk and go balls out to get him. If we get him, we will be very competitive. Anyways, I'm really excited for next season.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the max for Lowry would be 4 years at about $150 Mil. I don't know if I'm crazy about paying that to a 6' point guard with some injury history who is gonna be 35 years old at the end of this deal.

Bc Jrue might not want to be here and it's much more about the current market, in which the Pels will need a PG. Options if Jrue leaves:
A) start Tim Frazier or worse for 82 games, inevitably watch Boogie walk, and then AD force his way out bc he's miffed by continued franchise incompetence.
B) Overpay for a legit 30y/o PG (Hill or Lowry) and pray to God we can put a competitive, healthy team on the court that can consistently make the playoffs and therefore stamp the out the concerns in the back of AD's mind.

When are y'all going to see the lining on the wall for this offseason? Pels are at a franchise pivot point, they can either hold like the 300 Spartans or wilt and endure 8-10 years of sucking ballsack. I really don't want to be a Pels fan for a decade of being a bottom feeder, having endured life as a Saints fan already.

Well I just saw a report from realign that Lowry has zero interest in going back to Toronto so it seems anyone interested has a chance now

Lowry is good but past his prime and has injury issues worse than Holiday. We need to keep Jrue

I think they will make an offer to him at least.

Also, Lowrys game isn't based on athleticism.

He can play at high level well into his 30s
