So with that logic, we are required to have a steamer at center every year now? Thank god you aren't running this team.

Pekovic is aging and injury prone. He looked like shite this season compared to last season

I'm assuming you're just talking health wise, because his numbers are basically identical to last season.

Not to be a dick, but I literally posted a thread on this exact subject a few days ago.

Well I wouldn't really say $35 million just tied up at guard since Evans has been effective playing with two other true guards.

Anthony Davis also has two full seasons left before his big pay day. Also eve Gordon never gets traded he will play out his contract before We need to extend Davis.

Completely missed the point. With what cap room is the front office going to be able to go out and sign a $8 million center? And when?

You can't this offseason, and you can't the next. Then when Gordon's contract is up, you have to extend Davis'. If they don't extend Anderson, then they can make a move for a center.

Speaking of extending Anderson, and I know that this is well down the line and there is plenty of performing that has to go on, but judging from his play from last year, how much money will he require as an aging big man in the middle of his prime in a couple years? Will 8-9mil be enough?
