What this team has done this season has been nothing short of amazing. With all the talent that has gone and all the players that are hurt, including three starters, we somehow found a way to make the Eastern Conference playoffs.

If we finish with 40 wins with the roster we have right now, wow. Three of the guys on the roster were signed during the season to replace injured players.

There is no way we should have won that many games and we def could have won more if AD didn't constantly get beat up down low. That poor kid needs a Center so he can play more of the 4 that he was born to play (KG)

Anyways...

I am so freaking proud of how much work these guys put in this season and it can only help us moving forward.

Brian Roberts is the most underrated player in the NBA. Anthony Morrow is second in that category.

Withey will only get better too.

There are only 8 games left. In order to finish with 40 wins, the Pelicans would have to go 8-0 to close out the season.

Extremely unlikely considering the last 6 games of the season are against:

Portland
Phoenix
OKC
Houston
OKC
Houston

Although some of those teams may rest players.

Yeah, OKC and Houston have about 2 games of space either direction right now. If that keeps up I'd expect the last 2 games to be against reserves.

Ok, so maybe I was drunk about BR.

But come on now, around 40 wins.

1 y - Miami 51 22
2 y - Indiana 52 23
3 x - Toronto 42 32
4 x - Chicago 42 32
5 Brooklyn 39 33
6 Washington 38 36
7 Charlotte 36 38
8 Atlanta 32 41

New Orleans 32 42 (1/2 game behind Atlanta from making the Eastern Conference playoffs)

It was a joke and it also shows how tough the Western conference is. We could be making the playoffs every year in the East.

Agreed. I used to watch the Heat every chance I had, now I don't miss any Pelican's games bishes. This team is learning how to play together.
